Tell Wal-Mart to Add Gender Identity/Expression to its Non-Discrimination Policy

According to Pam's Houseblend:

The board of Wal-Mart is urging stockholders to vote against the upcoming proposal number 4 which would add gender identity/expression to the companies non-discrimination policy. The board insists Wal-Mart is a leader when it comes to diversity and see no need to implement a change in current policy.

Take action by contacting Wal-Mart to add protections for gender variant people.

For the record, I have been boycotting Wal-Mart for years not just over there poor LGBT ratings by HRC but also because of their poor treatment of women, minorities, people with disabilities, their destruction of small business, the environment, and their horrible labor practices and health care benefits to employees. These are just a few reasons why I HATE WALMART!

You really see the glass as half full don't you? Even if Walmart passes this resolution, they will not follow it. They don't even follow the current laws. The best action against Walmart is to stop purchasing their products altogether. No matter what you look at, it is nothing but an exploitation vacuum. It sucks in and NEVER EVER gives back.

Well Renee I personally wouldn't support Wal-Mart anyway but any step even if just words is a step in the right direction and we need to keep up the pressure on them. It would atleast give trans people a basis to sue on.
