Thank you so much for posting this. I am sending the movie trailer by email to churches in our community, in the hopes that it will at least be announced at a Sunday Service. I hope others will spread the word. If you attend church, please bring this to the attention of your minister. Also, local TV stations and newspapers.

What a great idea geek, do you think if I mailed a copy to some churches they would look at it?

Thanks for the info. I'm posting this on my site too.

QU - hopefully you're talking about emailing. If so, go for it! If nothing else, it'll certainly help raise awareness of the tragic consequences of homophobia - even if only a few of them really watch it.

Actually, I think a lot more than just a few will watch if they know about it before hand. It could just start some interesting discussions in churches.

I hope this hits the net video sites since I gave up on CATV with it's over-commercialization.

The part they showed when Bobby just throws himself off the bridge really grabbed me. I never thought of suicide when I was young. I know my father still has trouble with my being gay but you know what, family is stronger than religious belief.

My son was adopted by my 1/2 sister and he just happen's to be Black and Gay. And he made contact with me just recentely to tell me that there is a whole lot of abuse going on, with in the family of origin, his school which has made it where he refuses to go to that school. And she wont enroll him in anywhere else. And he told me if I cant fix it he will either committe suicide like Bobby did, or he will disappear where no one will ever see him again. He is only 14 { he will be on the 31st of this month} the authorities have been called, and the department of children and family's and all they do is tell him he is a disobeident child, and that if his adoptive parents dont want him to be gay then it is illegal to be gay. And that they claim he is acting this way because the adopted mom wont let him see boy's. Is there any help out there. Before my son takes his own life. I fully except him, he knows all i want him to do is be 100% safe, because of all the diseases out there. She does the abandon thing all the time. He and his brother have NOT been ina steady semester since December 2007. She goes through men like babies goes through diapers and the authrorites say this is a good setting for him and his brother. And with his brother since 6-08 he has tried suicide way over 10 times. Please God is there someone that can help me.

I am sorry to hear that. There may be resources for LGBT youth. Where is he located? There is also the Gay and Lesbian National Hotline youth phone center where he can call and speak to someone about issues and also find resources. http://www.glnh.org/index2.html
