Love Conquers Hate - Pass Federal Hate Crimes Legislation

The Human Rights Campaign launched a new website today to kick off the campaign to pass federal hate crimes legislation in the 110th Congress. The site, found at www.hrc.org/FightHate, will:

  • Provide background information on the legislation, the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act (LLEHCPA).
  • Feature photos and videos illustrating the devastating impact hate crimes have on individuals and communities.
  • Answer frequently asked questions (FAQs) on the bill.
  • Provide the latest updates on the bill’s progress.
  • Provide users with the tools to directly contact their members of Congress to urge them to support the legislation.
Goto Fight Hate to send a message to congress and to find more resources.

End the Hate at Penn State! said...

i took a look at HRC's site and was really pleased because it was inclusive of ALL the LGBTQ community. It the past I've felt that HRC has not been Queer and Trans friendly and a bit too elitist. So, I think I am going to give a shout to HRC and say thanks for being Queer friendly and email it to my grad program at Penn State who still refuses to give LGBTQ students equal protection against discrimination and harassment!

You just pushed the debate back into the courts where the liberal bodies of the APA(s) and the ABA have to justify with replicated, empirical data why neurotic adults should be given special treatment over all other Americans. Absent you submitting to MRI polygraphs, I'd get crackin' to produce some legitimate body of scientific evidence that supports your position instead the continual intrinsic fraud engaged in by neurotic legal and medical professionals by collusion. This legislation will ultimately be deemed unconstitutional due to violation of the 14th amendment, but I'd start producing legitimate research instead of engaging in the suppression of scientific evidence.
